Typographic Covers of the 60’s & 70’s.  Ok… I initially set out for finding other great typographic covers of that era, without doing the typical Blue Note Records search for Reid Miles’ covers as he was a staple for the look and feel of the label with untouchable trend setting designs of the era and often duplicated ever since by various genre’s. His experimentation, tight cropping, warped type, or completely typographic pieces were and still are great in my opinion.
I say all that in regard to how I began the few posts below, almost all the covers yielded were Blue Note, and without a doubt hold the most weight.
